Instructional Labs
CEE offers nine (9) teaching and demonstration laboratories which focus on visual, theoretical and practical applications of real engineering problems to demonstrate realistic engineering solutions to our students. CEE’s undergraduates are required to enroll in at least two (2) laboratory classes to complete their degree requirements. Additionally, our students participate in other laboratory demonstration and experimental modules in several of our lecture courses, as well as utilizing our laboratory facilities for senior design and senior thesis course requirements and credit-based independent study projects.
CEE’s Undergraduate and Graduate Instructional Labs include the following:
- Structures and Applied Mechanics: Concrete Lab, Materials Testing Lab
- Transportation and Urban Planning: Spatial Geomatics (Surveying) Lab, Computer Lab, Transportation Lab
- Geo-Technology and Geo-Materials: Soil Mechanics Lab, Geotechnical Lab
- Water Resources and Environmental Engineering: Hydraulics Lab, Environmental Monitoring Lab, Environmental Engineering (Water Chemistry) Lab
